About this Project:
Craving a break from tradition – more specifically, traditional style – we were fortunate to work with a couple to transform their West Des Moines home into a living space that is customized to their lifestyle and aesthetic. The full kitchen remodel features a maple cabinets and flint black quartz countertops along with some functional changes including replacing the couples' kitchen table with an expanded island, and turning the desk area into a drop zone/beverage center. Natural stone transforms the living room fireplace into an impactful focal point, while adjacent cabinetry was painted and received new doors and glass shelving to complete the look. The powder room has a maple floating vanity topped with midnight sapphire quartz and a vessel sink. Entering the home, first impression that reflects the homeowners was created with completely redesigned staircase elements. In addition, trim work and doors were replaced throughout to reflect the clean lines of the homes updated transitional style.
