About this Project:
Having lived in their new home for several years, these homeowners were ready to finish their basement and transform it into a multi-purpose space where they can mix and mingle with family and friends. Central to the space is a bar area with seating around a large island, as well as flexible seating space in front of a fireplace. The finished space also includes a cozy media area with multiple screens for watching football, a game area, and a three quarter bath. Inspired by clean lines and neutral tones, the space can be described as well-dressed rustic. Poplar cabinetry and trim has a unique river rock stain that pairs perfectly with antique brown brushed granite, black hardware and the stone fireplace. Despite being a lower level, the space is flooded with natural light adding to its appeal. We look forward to sharing this lower level finish with you!
