About this Project:
Do you wonder why you should remodel your basement? Do you have trouble visualizing possible designs? Modern Touches transformed this existing oak basement into a transitional / rustic design creating intriguing focal points and an overall functional floor plan. Our clients did not want a typical bookcase fireplace. We created a 3D design displaying innovative curved shelving wrapping around the fireplace as a mantle! This full basement renovation features stained maple cabinetry and trim package. The granite pattern has various warm tones complimenting the tile flooring, and creates a unique contrast against the stone behind the wet bar and fireplace. In-floor heat was installed at the bar leading into a 3/4 bath creating more warmth. In addition, there is a 3/4 bath with a tile shower, beverage center, and onyx backlighting with glass floating shelves behind the bar.
