This West Des Moines true-to-style and authentic 80’s contemporary needed a full makeover. Outdated ‘updates’ and wear and tear left all surfaces begging for attention. New LVP wide plank flooring replaced a mismatch of dated tile and tired oak. The new, highly functional, reconfigured kitchen boasts a 9’ island with seating for five. An expanded opening into the family room creates the requested, just right amount of openness for this busy family of seven. A reimagined homework/craft station replaced the original too small eating area. A laundry room with concealed chute, storage for all shoes, counter for folding, basket storage and hang up space now works very efficiently. Four bathrooms were updated with fixtures, cabinetry and tile. The layout of the primary bath was redesigned to complete a new primary suite with a sitting room. All interior surfaces and windows were replaced and outdoor pergola revamped.
