When we first walked through the front door of this home, we knew it was special. The layout, the volume, the “feel and bones” were, and are, special, but the finish elements fell short of the needs of the homeowner. This home received a massive makeover as the entire main floor was massaged and realigned with the sophisticated nature of the Visionary Maven who calls this dwelling home. We were given carte blanche to reconcile the kitchen, living room, hearth room, powder, primary suite, dressing room and laundry room so as to create a space that’s comfortable, yet sharp. An intriguing aspect of this project is that we removed minuscule amounts of interior framing that had a massive impact on the layout of the furniture. This is one where you want to look for the details. Come see a home where a bio ethanol fireplace isn’t such a contrast to the floating waterfalled granite surfaces.
