About this Project:
We worked with the homeowners to update their kitchen so that it remained cohesive with the rest of the home. There were plenty of opportunities to maximize the space both functionally and aesthetically. The homeowners love the beauty of wood, and chose cherry cabinets with elements that highlight craftsman ship and give the kitchen its own style while working with the rest of the home. The new cabinets are taller, increasing storage, and we maximized storage throughout the kitchen by selecting attributes that complement how the homeowners use the space. To better accommodate their lifestyle, we replaced a smaller peninsula with a larger one that provides abundant storage and an expanded eating area. To lighten the space, we replaced fluorescent fixtures with pendants, recessed lighting and a sun tunnel for natural light.
