About the Project
This Johnston kitchen started out as a utilitarian box that held all of the parts and pieces one would require in a kitchen. More specifically, it had design features that had a trend with a beginning and a rather obvious “end”. For the Nielson Family, that simply wouldn’t suffice. There is no greater joy than when a homeowner lines up with a designer and immediately starts speaking the same language. That very event happened in this home. We knocked down walls to open up the main floor and removed the looming and ominous column that separated the kitchen from the living room. One of our favorite quotes from a customer came from this homeowner: “I absolutely love the pendant lights; they look like jewelry”. Come see why this home is so Compelling.
