We took this home and blended a Modern Farmhouse with a transitional design. The home lacked space for circulation and living due to a very encumbering wall that separated the could-be-kitchen table with the rest of the kitchen. With a request to “change all the things” we went to work transforming this home into the textured & detailed Transitional Farmhouse that it is today. Lots of ship lap, heavily distressed cabinetry and a huge hidden scullery at the back of kitchen are just a few of the touches that this family enjoys daily. Of course, the real beauty is always in the details. This home is worth checking out just to see the countertops & hand-made kitchen table.
