Curran & Company Architects

Curran and Company Architects was founded in 2014 by J.P. Curran. The firm offers professional design services for custom residential and light commercial projects. Our work experience includes single family new construction, single family additions and renovations, community buildings, and small scale commercial projects. Most recently the firm has relocated its primary office to Des Moines metro area.

Our approach to every project, small or large, draws on inspiration from the client and thoughtful consideration of the site and its immediate surroundings. Once the vision has been established, the creative process begins with hand drawn plans, elevations, and thumbnail sketches. We integrate the design and details into construction drawings and provide guidance for implementation during the construction phase. We strive to create authentic architecture that strengthens our sense of place and contributes to the communities in which we live.

The firm’s work has been featured in publications such as Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Organic Life Magazine, and Modern Luxury Interiors Atlanta. The firm has been recognized as finalists for the AIA Atlanta Residential Design Awards in 2017 and 2018 as well as awards with the Atlanta Home Builders Association
